People keep asking me if I can come out with more items for the holidays. So I am releasing this one without the full product description I normally do. But here is what I can tell you about it.
About:
I’ve always focused my ruby jewelry designs on passion and power, which is the hallmark of rubies.
But for this necklace, I did something different. Around the deeply passionate, spiritually powerful ruby center, I added soft pinks and greens in zirconium to give it a feeling of deeper, more secure love, but still give it the sparkle of the holiday season.
In my mind, I saw someone wearing this around the holidays, falling in love or reigniting lost passions.
The Artistic Touch
This necklace is a balance of colors and design that is absolutely exquisite. My artist friends keep saying that this necklace has it all in terms of design.
I originally made it with tourmaline, but realized it was going to be a very expensive piece. A good strand of tourmaline can cost wholesale more than the entire retail price for this necklace.
And it doesn’t have that sparkle and shine we like so much over the holidays, like the CZ does.
So I substituted with really high-quality zirconium, faceted to give off flash at just the right time. And I have to say, the time it took to string all those little stones was significant. But the end result was fantastic!
