A hand-carved Polynesian Wheku spiritual protection pendant centers this necklace, along with valuable petrified coral stones and green aventurine for luck. Carved from bone, the Wheku acts as a powerful guardian amulet, calling on ancestors to bring protection and good fortune. A carving like this is often considered a sacred treasure.
Note: This is not a tracked artifact. In other words, we purchased it from someone who had connections to carvers for this piece but it does not come with a provenance certificate and if it did, it would be quite a bit more costly. Still, it is a wonderful carving and of excellent quality.
