A Message From The Artist - You Can Have This Protection Too
I originally created this image for my husband who many of you know miraculously survived a violent attack and hospitalization. I wanted something that would help him deal with both PTSD and a situation where he remained in danger and received threats from his attacker.
I chose a Temple Tiger - one living in the ruins of a sacred spiritual center, because they are seen as powerful guardians of one’s spirit, both living and those who have passed on. I looked at him and thought “that’s the energy I want looking over Spencer --- standing watch, protecting and guiding him in this journey.” While I created it, I realized that not only would this work for him, but it would also work for family, friends, fans and customers.
Spencer placed the painting over our couch and said he felt so much better when he experienced the Temple Tiger’s protective energy. Then he wanted it in the bedroom because he slept so much better with it around. Now he is wearing a pendant.
It made the people in my studio feel better too, so we are placing one in the space as protection. It seems to work just as well for others. I imagine people will start getting the prints and jewelry for those they cannot be with but want to protect, or for themselves. The Temple Tiger brings you such a sense of security and a feeling that things will be OK. I've since learned that the tiger is also seen as a protector against financial mishaps and problems.
