To climb out, be gentle with yourself and acknowledge where you are without self-judgment. Find hand holds, by remembering better times, when you were not burdened by this trauma or challenge. Remove yourself from the sources, which hold the heavy memories.
By giving yourself permission to find what can restore you, you will discover that you matter and life has promise. Small steps will lead you gradually to a fresh a zest for life in the moment.
