There's just something about the desert that clears the mind and leaves it open to the divine power. I wanted to capture the energy in that instant when the desert world becomes supernatural and the vision of the way things could be is revealed to us. I chose a tree I saw at sunset on a trip to the desert, reminiscent of the the burning bush. I named the painting Desert Vision - Prophets Light.
