A rush of adrenaline when afraid can actually be protective. When senses are heightened, you are alert and prepared to react to danger. This flight or fight reaction is critical for survival.

 If however you hold onto fear once the immediate danger is over, the constant state of high alert will wear you out. You might start to react to everything like a skittish deer and flee at the slightest provocation.

 To reduce stress, connect to spirit and imagine your guardians surrounding you with loving guidance and protection.
